Kolumbus
A travelling company driven by a passion for travel’s transformative power was looking for name, branding identity and logo design. They wanted to encapsulate the spirit of exploration and transformation of their service in their brand identity.
They focus on making personalised travel itineraries that reflect an individual’s unique travel aspirations. With a mission to inspire meaningful adventures, the company helps create lasting memories through authentic, thoughtfully planned experiences.

Our challenge was to craft a brand identity that encapsulated the transformative power of travel, resonating with the journey of self-discovery and cultural connection. This involved creating a name with strong brand recall, paired with a logo and branding identity that would deeply connect with customers and leave a lasting impression.
We named the brand Kolumbus, inspired by the legendary explorer Columbus, to symbolise the spirit of adventure, discovery and transformation. The name reflects the company’s mission to inspire meaningful journeys and create lasting memories, while also ensuring strong brand recall and an emotional connection with travellers.

The brand identity and logo needed to resonate with the idea of personal growth, cultural connection and meaningful exploration, capturing the journey each traveller undertakes in discovering themselves and the world around them. The logo design symbolises the core elements of The Self, The Location and The Transformation, combining symbols of a human, a location pin, sun and heart to represent exploration and connection towards the world. For typography, Bricolage Grotesque was chosen for its contemporary yet approachable character, complemented by Montserrat for versatility and clarity.
